Note to Self

Thank you for keeping up with my blog. I now realise that writing about my everyday work in the last post means that I've sort of shot myself in the foot, when it comes to creativity. Today I've found another slot for some blogging and I am tempted to say this past week can be most easily described by re-reading the last post. Except, if I look a little closer I can say that's not totally true...

Since the last post I can report that I've got 2 new regular supporters, I have spoken at another 2 churches and I've been able to get a new appointment in the diary, which will I think will be significant in helping me continue towards my current target. I've also been able to spend quality time with friends and supporters in London and arrange to catch up with some of the Welsh contingent this week. I'm even, dare I say it, cautiously optimistic that I may be able to return to Vienna at the end of October and really get stuck into work at TWR.

This may be more of a note-to-self than a blog post; a reminder to be thankful for what God is making happen through my emails and preparations each day... and beyond my own efforts. It is good to remember that God is not limited by my level of motivation (or lack of it) or by the times I drop the ball. Knowing my tendency to get too focussed on what I am doing (or not doing) and to forget that I believe in an almighty God, this is a good note to keep hold of. And not just for support raising.
